Thai massage

Thai massage is an ancient practice, brought to Thailand from India at around the time of Buddha (2500 years ago). There it developed into a unique style of massage; the practitioner applies both gentle and firm pressure to the energy points of the body. Stretching movements are also used to relax muscles and energise the body, increasing flexibility and releasing tension.

Acupressure stimulates Sen energy lines, removing blockages and improving circulation. The subtle energy work and healing create an overall experience of wholeness and well-being, thus improving quality of life.

Thai massage:

  • increases energy levels and alertness
  • induces deep relaxation and tranquillity of mind
  • preserves good muscle tone
  • increases flexibility
  • relieves stress, depression and emotional anxiety
